  Why Do JW Speakers and GB Members Sound So Robotic?

  It's like the women who cut the ends of her roast off and put it in the pan. When asked why, she said because her mom did. So she asked her mom why she cut the ends of the roast off before cooking it. The answer? Because the roast was too big to fit the pan.

  It's an accepted affectation. Someone heard a GB or some other who had that speech pattern and emulated it. Before you know it, everyone spoke like a drone. Those that read the talk in a lively manner commanded the most attention.. Because of the accepted tone everyone adopted they seem rebel's. I'm out too long now to give a ship.

  Pure Worship restored only for English-speaking?

  gb recent presents new book "based ezekiel" - pure worship restored.this book also provide into jw-borg site and jw-lib too, but only english.as examle, spanish - it`s second largest language into us and america continents, but has no translated into it.do you have any idea why this could happen?

  they hide something, or just did not have time to translate (but previously published in all major languages at the same time).

  Most likely it will be released at a date not far off. I'm sure they have translators hot on it. Did they state it wouldn't be released until a certain far off date? I wouldn't jump to conclusions that it will be very long. Spanish and many other languages are very much alike so I think once its out in Spanish it wont be long till its everywhere. Remember the net can provide rather quick distribution of info.

  Increase in Second Sealings for the Anointed?

  the other day i heard my anointed roommate on the phone, discussing something called the "second sealing".

  i heard her say that most anointed people only receive it shortly before death, if they receive it at all.

  she went on to say that she has been hearing about several other anointed people receiving theirs recently and not dying afterward.

  Paul spoke of knowing that he had run his course successfully and had received witness that he was acceptable, or sealed. First sealed as belonging to Christ via HS bearing witness to his anointing. Then second as witness he had run his race faithfully and was ready to die with a clean conscience, fully acceptable for entrance into the kingdom.   When will the remnant of anointed Christians who have initially been sealed receive their final sealing? Any still alive on earth will be sealed “in their foreheads” before the outbreak of the great tribulation. When the four winds of tribulation are unleashed, all of spiritual Israel will have been sealed in finality, even though a few will still be alive in the flesh and must yet finish their earthly course.

  Movies that make you cry?

  there have been many but i had a total melt down at the end of sophie's choice.

  i hadn't cried in years before i saw that movie in in 1982. i was still very much a jw at the time.

  i have no idea where the pain and sorrow came from, maybe it was the fact there are things people have gone through that we have defied all reason logic.

  Empire of the Sun, Directed by S. Spielberg. Christian Bale's major movie premiere at 13. His character is a Japanese prisoner of war separated from his parents. Based on a true story by J. Ballard. The prison camp has an airfield that the prisoners slaved to build. The U.S. comes to bomb the field and "Jaimie" snaps. His statement at the end of the scene is gut wrenching, especially after you've seen his journey to this point. (the planes are radio controlled models.)

  I was at the Walmart looking for a sweatshirt in Yuba City and a young woman, probably 21 to 25 was loading a shopping cart with sweatshirts, towels etc. I asked what all that was for? She said for the evacuees up north. I asked if she was with a church or something. Her answer? "No". She did mention that her family would probably pitch in towards all the goods. I thought, what they really need is the good news of God's kingdom! Not... Imagine that, a young person being a good human being and not due to any desire to please God. Worldly people, go figure.

  I am only 30 miles south of the inferno. There is little air here. The town of Chico CA (93,000+) is at the foot of the mountain that holds the former town of Paradise. The fire has already forced evacuation of a southeastern portion of the city limits. This is rural and mostly grass on that part. Fire fighters have burned swaths of the grass to create firebreaks. Chico should be ok. Paradise is considered a loss. It's very much like Tahoe in its pine tree, mountainous village feel. Its going to be hideous for quite a while. People called Paradise the "Bone yard" because it was mostly elderly retirees. Great place to buy a used car. So sad. I helped on a quick-build there in the 90's. I'm certain its crispy now.

  I watched "First Man" and found it sluggish and without any excitement. Armstrong came across having one tone and presented as a smug fellow. I hope that wasn't who he was. On the other hand the presentation of all the technical stuff, lift off, emergencies et all: were superb.

  alright, so what is the deal with the thousands coming to the states right at election time seeking asylum?

  i'm not up on this, usually try not to be, but how can this not be manipulative?

  it's either manipulative in the size of the group and pressure that creates, or in where it started or who started this, etc.

  Don't forget the worst thing of all, they have athlete's foot. Oh the humanity. C'mon, of course they are coming en mass, there is strength in numbers. They cannot be simply ignored or quietly dealt fake court appointments so easily. No one on the left told Trump to separate families.

  I still don't understand why they don't prefer Mexico for asylum. Advantages: Shorter walk, same language.
